the garment of righteousness preserves the redeemed
Synopsis:
This preparatory drawing for Nya’s painting “Eternal letters to my Beloved,” reveals how the invisible Creator invisibly resides on the visible earth in the spirit specie called Man which He created in His distinct image and formed in two models, male and female.
While the fragile, feeble and distressed ground the figures are rested upon represent the fragility and mortal nature of the human body, the meticulously rendered text comprising the words that are weaved into an eternal epistle represent God’s righteousness which now clothes every human filled with His Spirit.
This card was produced on the occasion of an exhibition held at Seed Gallery in 2018 entitled “Father: The Abiding Paragon of Eternal Mentorship” in which Nya′ visually explicates the core meaning of the word, “Father” by tracing its ethereal foundation.
